RedClause

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Overview

RedClause is a browser-based music studio. Tracks are synthesized entirely on your device, and we designed the site to collect as little data as possible. RedClause has no user accounts and no server-side database of personal information.

Data stored on your device

Your track library, published-track list, and studio preferences are stored locally in your browser's storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or export a track. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently.

Published track links

When you publish a track, its full composition (genre, mood, instruments, production settings, and generation seed) is encoded into the link itself. Anyone you share the link with can reproduce the track. Published links contain no personal information — only the musical recipe.

Third-party services

  • Google AdSense — this site displays advertising served by Google. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to personalize ads and measure performance. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and opt out of personalized ads in your Google settings.
  • Google Drive — if you choose "Save to Google Drive", you authorize the upload through Google's own OAuth consent screen. The app receives a short-lived token used only to upload the file you selected; we never see or store your Google password, and the token is not persisted by us.
  • Vercel Analytics — in production, we collect anonymous, aggregated page-view metrics to understand site usage. No cross-site tracking profiles are built.

Sharing and exports

Share actions (social networks, the device share sheet, iCloud Files) hand your file or link to the app you choose. Once handed off, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Children's privacy

RedClause does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The service has no registration and no data submission features.
